About us

World Outreach for Christ church is transitioning to an equipping ministry as found in Eph.4:11-12. This is where the church started back in 1977 and grew into the vision of reaching, teaching and releasing into the harvest fields of the world through the local church. We believe the church has come full circle and now
we are returning to our roots of equipping the saints one person, one group, one church at a time to walk in their callings as God grants them grace to carry out their gifting with His grace, strength and power. We are calling the meetings “His Gatherings”, thus the web address. Jim and Patricia believe the Lord has been directing this move for sometime as it has been confirmed through leadership and those who have given oversight to the work for many years.

The release of the local church which has been a productive work in raising up leaders, for the Harvest fields of the world was a difficult thing for Pastor Jim, as he and his wife Mary (whom he lost to cancer in 2015) were Pastors for over 30 years with many other great leaders, some of which went forth locally, nationally, and internationally into leadership roles, developing churches and working on the mission field.

In 2016 the Lord brought Jim and Patricia together both in marriage and ministry which at that time was still pastoring the local church. Jim had been working in apostolic and prayer ministry to the larger body of Christ for several years and began to be quickened that he would move out of the local church pastorate at some point. When Mary died and Patricia came into his life he knew it was time for change both in his personal life and ministry.

Patricia has been a strong prayer warrior for many years and a woman of faith who raised her six children, without a husband, for over 30 years. Together Jim and Patricia are answering the call of the Lord to carry on His work in a chaotic world in need of His love and grace. Their urgency is to help individuals and small groups learn to rely on God in prayer and seek His presence for their daily lives.

Jim and Patricia will continue to pastor, teach, mentor and oversee individuals and ministries, as well as, interact with other ministries to build the Kingdom of God worldwide. World Outreach continues to support orphans,  apostolic and prophetic works that preach and teach, nationally and internationally, with the hopes of expanding mission outreach in the near future. The goal of His Gatherings is to help develop individuals into living examples of Christ likeness, as well as, to support outreach ministries around the world. This will be accomplished through personal, small group and church ministry. Jim and Patricia believe that Christ like living is necessary in preparation for His return.
